The very first Final Fantasy released in 1987, opens just with such kind of quest: defeat the evil Garland and save the princess. Final Fantasy 2 however has a different game play it consist of three youths were their parents where killed during an invasion of an emperor using demons and monsters. The youth joins a resistance to end the emperors war. Final Fantasy 3 revolves its stories to four orphans drawn into the crystal of light granting them some of its powers for them to bring balance to the world. Final Fantasy 4 would be a bit similar to Final Fantasy 3, the story centers with Cecil, a Dark Knight from the kingdom of baron, struggling to prevent the evil Golbez and his minions from acquiring powerful crystals.
